● Please tell us what made you want to work in the field of nursing care as a specified skill in Japan.

Diana (titles omitted): My mother and sister were nurses, so I was interested in nursing care and wanted to give it a try.

● I see, your mother and sister are nurses, so you've always watched them work. Where did you learn about the specific skills system?

Diana: I didn't know anything about specific skills, but I learned about it after researching it on the internet in Indonesia. What I was most interested in was nursing care, so I studied nursing care on YouTube for 2-3 weeks and was able to pass the skill exam on the first try.

● It's amazing that you were able to pass the exam, you must have worked hard.

Diana: Yes, I went to a Japanese language school, so I got a 100 in Japanese. Nursing care was 90 points.

● What made you want to work in Japan?

Diana: I previously went to a Japanese language school in Osaka and then entered university, but due to various things during the coronavirus pandemic, I was unable to graduate, so I quit after three years and returned to Indonesia. After that, I decided that I wanted to work in Japan because I liked Japanese culture and its cleanliness.

●How do you feel about actually working there?

Diana: It was difficult at first, but I gradually got used to it. Everyone is kind and teaches me a lot of things.

● Are there people with the same specific skills or people from Indonesia at your workplace?

Diana: Yes, there are 10 people in total. There are 6 Indonesians and 4 Vietnamese.

● Then you can work with peace of mind. Do you also work night shifts?

Diana: I haven't worked the night shift yet, but I would like to try it at least once. I'll be on the early shift for the first time tomorrow. I know it's hard to get up since it starts at 1:6 and 7:XNUMX, but I'll try my best.

● That's right, I need to eat a good breakfast and work hard. What do you do on your day off?

Diana: On my days off, I go shopping. I also want to go see the illuminations. Also, my hobby is traveling, so I would like to work hard, save money, and go to Okinawa and Hokkaido.

Diana: When I looked up ``Working in Japan'' on the Internet, it came up at the top.

Diana: Yes, I received a response immediately within two days of applying.

● Did you get an image of working in Japan through interviews with registration support organizations and companies?

Diana: I had lived in Japan once, so I was confident. But I also tried my best.

● How long did it take you to get the job offer?

Diana: I registered in January, had an interview in February, took the SSW exam after the interview, and got the job in July, so it's been about 1 months.

● Do you have any goals for the next 3 to 5 years?

Diana: I like Japan, so I would like to work there. I also want to take the nursing care worker exam in three years. In the future, I would like to open my own facility in Indonesia. Also, I am planning to take N3 in July and would like to study polite Japanese more.
