Returned to Indonesia after working as a technical intern in Japan for 3 years. She wanted to find a new job in Japan, so she learned about Japan's specified skill system and studied and passed the nursing care field exam. After registering on "Hello Japan", a matching site specializing in specific skills, I met the registration support organization "Human Life Care Co., Ltd." and successfully obtained a job offer.

● Congratulations on your job offer! Please tell us how you found out about the specific skill matching site "Hello Japan".

Najar (honorifics omitted): I was taught by a teacher at the Japanese language center I attended, so I searched for "Hello Japan" and registered my resume.

● Was “Hello Japan” easy to use?

Najar: It was very easy to use!I was able to set the text on the site to be displayed in Indonesian (multilingual support), so it was convenient.

● It was good! While you were looking for a job using "Hello Japan", did you log in to My Page and check messages from companies?Or did you check it after receiving a notification in your mailbox that "A message from a company has arrived"?

Najar: After I applied for a job, I logged into my "Hello Japan" page every day and checked to see if I had received a reply from the company.I checked my email every time I got a notification.

● I see, you were able to get good job offers precisely because you worked hard every day!By the way, have you received any scout emails from other companies other than the one you received this time?

Najar: I had an interview with another company, and their job offer was in the machinery industry. However, I wanted to do nursing care and started job hunting for a specific skill, so I stopped talking to that company.

● I see, so you were also looking at machine work in addition to nursing care?

Najar: Yes, I used to work as a metal press operator in Japan for three years as a technical intern.

● You seem to be doing a very difficult job. After completing the technical intern training and returning to Indonesia, did you still want to work in Japan again?

Najar: About a week after returning to Indonesia, I wanted to go back to Japan (laughs). So, I am very happy to have received the offer this time.

● All of us are very happy and look forward to your visit to Japan.By the way, did you know about the existence of the Specified Skilled Worker system after you returned to Indonesia?

Najar: Yes, I did some research and found out about Japan's Specified Skilled Worker system. In the future, I was aiming for a care worker and a care visa, and I wanted to work in Japan for the long term, so I studied to pass the exam in the care field.

● Was the exam in the nursing care field difficult?

Najar: It was difficult. It was especially difficult because Japanese had to be at least N3.

● That's right, but you were able to pass the exam because of your hard work!

Najar: No, the teachers at the Japanese Language Center gave me various textbooks and supported me, so it was very helpful.

● You were blessed with good teachers. Were there any websites other than "Hello Japan" that you used during your job hunting activities?

Najar: I was also registered with another site. But for "Hello Japan", Human Life Care contacted me right away, and the interview with the company was decided quickly, so I used "Hello Japan" intensively.

● Human Life Care's quick response was a big decisive factor. How many times have you had an interview with a company?

Najar: About 4 times including practice with Human Life Care. (smile)

● So you also practiced. As expected, Najar is serious, and the support of Human Life Care is kind!

Najar: I am very grateful to Human Life Care.He even gave me advice on details such as my profile picture. At first, I posted a slightly somber and casual photo on my profile, but I was warned, "Please take a more serious photo" (laughs).

● So that happened (laughs).Human Life Care thought for Mr. Najar and even gave advice on photographs so that he could give a good impression to the company!

Najar: It really helped! Thanks to Human Life Care, I was able to take the first step towards making my dream come true!

● How long did it take from the time you started looking for a job until you received the job offer?

Najar: About three to four months.I am currently applying for a Specified Skilled Worker visa.

● I hope that you will get your visa without any problems. This time you will be working at a nursing home in Kyoto. Have you ever been to Kyoto?

Najar: I have been to Kinkakuji and Kiyomizudera in Kyoto.

● I also went sightseeing in Kyoto on the same course (laughs).

Najar: That's right (laughs).Kyoto is a great place, and I am looking forward to working and living in Kyoto in the future!

● Mr. Najar, what are your goals for the next five years?

Najar: First, I want to improve my Japanese skills. And I want to get certified as a care worker.Once you are qualified as a care worker, you can switch to a nursing care visa, so you can bring your family to Japan.I want to do my best with that as my goal.

● That's a great goal. Finally, do you have any message or advice you would like to give to people who are aiming to find a job in Japan like Najar?

Najar: When I worked in Japan before, I learned a favorite phrase: "It's not about being able to do it, it's about doing it."I would like to present this to you.I'm sure you can do it!

● That's a very encouraging word! "Hello Japan" registrants will surely gain courage and confidence after listening to Mr. Najar's experiences and words.Once again, I sincerely hope that Najar will visit Japan and continue to play an active role.
